Meals & shared responsibilities
Shared meals are a central part of life at Marist House Fitzroy. Dinner is prepared and shared together on evenings when residents are at home, following a rotating cooking roster. Breakfast and lunch supplies are also provided, allowing flexibility around individual schedules.
This shared approach to meals supports both practical needs and the relational life of the house, creating regular opportunities for rich and meaningful interactions with other residents.
Service & outreach
As part of the Marist tradition, students at Marist House Fitzroy are invited to make a practical difference in the lives of others. Residents typically contribute several hours each week to Marist or local Church-sponsored service projects, offering opportunities to engage with the wider community in meaningful ways.
This outward-looking commitment complements the rhythms of study, prayer, and shared life within the house. Participation in service forms part of the broader formation experience and is approached in a practical and supported way.
